Messinian Mani is one of the most magic areas that you can find in Messinia. The climate of this region is mild, sweet, usually the temperatures are ideal and there are loads of sunshine. Mani begins in the south-eastern suburbs of Kalamata and reaches up to the boundaries of the prefecture. Starting from Kalamata, in the mountain road you will find Verga, Almyros, and a point of reference in whole Mani, Kardamyli. Going to the coast line you can see Kampos, Stoupa and a lot of places and villages famous for having nice beaches, nice food and ambience.

Its fertile landscape climbs to the highest mountain Taygetos (2,407m) and then tumbles into the sea carrying dozens of beautiful stone-built villages that are either hidden in forests, olive groves and summits or are next to the waves.

Nature, history, culture, tradition coexist in this place and its contrast invites people to discover it.

Mani was used by great poets as a source of inspiration: the towers, the Byzantine Churches, enchanting beaches full of Mediterranean light made this paradise perfect in each season for everyone who likes to enjoy life in all its plenitude.
