Diples

Diples, amongst the most well-known pastries of Messinia, which are still prepared in a traditional way and with pure materials such as: flour, eggs, vanilla favour, honey and walnut and fried in pure virgin olive oil. According to the local custom they are offered at weddings and in particular it is said that the more folds they have the more bonded the pair will be.
